A guy who was a democrat then suddenly stopped and became a republican in 1964 coincidentally when the Civil Rights Act was passed and signed into law by Democrat Lyndon Johnson despite Thurmond trying his all to try and sink it and defend segregation… hmmm wonder why he switched 🧐
