There are people who are damaged from seeing friends die in front of them, people who regret the lives they’ve taken, and there are people who look back at the violence they caused with pride. At the end of the day, I reserve the right to feel how I want about a person based on their actions, I’m not just going to generalize.
No, the acts they’ve committed and the government they went overseas to murder people for EARNED those titles of “Baby killers”. The War on Terror for one was a complete failure, increasing the amount of Americans killed, absolutely butchering civilian populations, and INCREASING terrorist attacks wherever the US went. Only ones that deserve a little respect are the ones that shot nazis. All my respect to the Union vets, especially after Jan 1st, 1863.
I’m aware. I should’ve clarified that I’ve studied in-depth war and the effects of war on participating soldiers haha, so forgive me for redundancies. Idk, like, I’m not really interested in getting into a full on debate rn, it’s late where I am. I just try to find empathy and humanity for people who were tricked by the system
