One thing I find sad is that even though the majority of the nation, liberals, moderates, and conservatives are against maga, they are still at each others throats. We should all build each other up. We all view maga as delusional.

there is not some secret majority of conservatives that hate MAGA. the venn diagram of conservatives and MAGA is basically a circle. the only people outside the circle are a handful of 70 year old senators and also neo nazis who think MAGA is too Jewish because of steve miller, israel and Trump’s grandkids.

And regular people who were betrayed by maga. I know many people who are conservative who voted or didn’t who say that Trump has went back on his promises and despise the fact that he wants to protect creeps. It isn’t a circle as I know just as many conservatives who are against MAGA as I know liberals against maga on my campus and off it. I do know some people who still like him but they are in the vast minority

well then if you’re right, republicans should lose the midterms in a landslide.

Honestly, yes. I hope Trump gets impeached. And from what I am predicting, I’m guessing around 2/3 of the house and senate will become democrat. To go even further, I am guessing that the winner of the 2028 election will be a moderate democrat like Governor Shapiro of Pennsylvania.

god i hope fucking shapiro doesn’t win. moderate dems not doing anything is how we got here. a moderate dem administration will be unable to even undo the damage Trump has done, let alone actually improve anything. if the dems run a moderate, especially an ardently zionist one, they will lose to a 3rd Trump term. which is probably what will happen because the DNC establishment would rather lose than win with someone left of bill clinton

Regardless of political beliefs in the Democratic Party, it’s a safe play. Pa is not just one of the battleground states, it is THE battleground state due to its 20 electoral votes. If they run him, it would be a guarantee that pa would go blue during the election due to his high approval rating in the state. On the issue of Israel, he is a safe candidate because while he supports the state, he condemns the state’s and Trump’s handling of the war.

Even still, neither side would stop sending aid to Israel any time soon. MTG’s proposed bill to defund Israel was shot down in a 6-422-10 vote

it’s not a safe play to run another uninspiring, conservative candidate. they did this with biden and barely won. they did it with Kamala and lost. hell they did it with clinton and lost.

yes because the politicians are utterly captured by AIPAC, and totally divorced from the voters
