as a white woman, i really don’t understand why MAGA people feel so damn victimized by their skin color? like never in my entire life has someone made me feel less than for being white in any meaningful way. ever. those folks just wanna be oppressed 💀

Exactly. There's people alive today born before civil rights and maga want to pretend like that has no lingering effects on systemic inequalities

there must just be some sort of epidemic of people taking shit personally because they act like acknowledging literal history, as you point out, is contradicting their ~personal~ history of their dad being poor & working hard to be not poor or something.
