On top of that, they claim to be prolife, but never do anything to help foster kids or homeless people. They claim to be a god loving Christian, but routinely turn away primarily christian immigrants from central/ south america

This is true but the issue people have with republicans is that they’ve been sitting on their hands for the last few decades while the problem continues to get worse. OP makes a good point about them blaming mental health issues while refusing to make it more accessible
