We should take away the tax exempt status of Churches, they’re not entitled to a break just because of their religion

In general, the money that comes into a lot of these institutions tends to go to charitable causes more so than really any other individual or institution. Taxing them quite literally would take food out of many people’s mouths

I don’t see why it isn’t possible to investigate churches for using their tax exempt status to enrich themselves instead of genuine community involvement and charity. It doesn’t take much to see a pastor making TV Star levels of money is most likely using the church as cover to commit fraud
