I am from California. I am currently living in Nevada. 18 as age of consent is just fine for me because I’m a normal person who’s not attracted to minors.

And that’s an argument for lowering the age of consent why? That’s MAYBE a reason for a Romeo and Juliet law, if that’s even a thing that’s prosecuted in practice (and I’ve never heard of it being as someone who’s lived in California my whole life)

Why? Defend your beliefs. If you believe a 17 year old cannot consent to sex with a 20 year old due to immaturity, what makes them able to consent to sex with another 17 year old?
