To be fair Trump has done a tremendous job at unifying his party because he threatens them with literally anything if they don’t while his core base supports him the whole way. Look what he did to Mike Pence for just doing his job and following the Constitution.

Fair point. Trump’s approach does seem to enforce unity through pressure, like with Pence, and his base keeps him strong. Maybe that’s a lesson in how decisive leadership can rally a party. Still, it’s wild to see Dems struggle with their own splits when a unified front could shift the game tremendously in their favor.
