I can understand supporting Trump because of economic policy or whatever else, but I do not understand why people are okay with ICE detaining people at their visa appointments. I wish y’all would put pressure on Trump to reign it in.

Trump, like all republicans is pretty disastrous for the economy. For some reason they’re automatically given the benefit of the doubt as “good on the economy” but the reality is every Republican in the 21st century has been a decent, growing economy and managed to to fuck in and also balloon the debt. When George Bush got in office we literally had a surplus. Bill Clinton was more “fiscally responsible” than any republican since.

I mean I don’t disagree but I understand that thats a big reason people voted for him. Just don’t understand why people support a lot of what ICE has been doing

How? His econ policy is working. Europe is pussies and does whatever we want. Inflation is cooling. We have record imports

Idk where you got those numbers from but no it is not cooling and the world is not bending to his will. He likely still got us cut off from Iranian and middle eastern oil, most countries are actively devaluing the dollar and trying to cozy up to china. They’re listening to him so they get info on what he will fuck up next.

Inflation was 3% when biden left office, now its 2.7%. He did not get us cut off from anything in the middle east. Trump just got all NATO members to spend 5% of their annual GDP on defense. The alliance is stronger than ever.

Buddy that ceasefire didn’t change the fact Iran is heavily considering closing down the straight of Hormuz. Yes the main straight where our oil comes from. They’re still pissed we bombed just not as pissed.

Only took alienating and tariffing our allies, mass firings, gutting science and medical research, and eroding our democratic institutions. But glad inflation is down .3%!

Also the NATO that Donald is still trying to leave. The alliance is only strong if we’re a part of it and yeah they boosted spending cause they realize we won’t be part of it by middle of next year.

Iran wont close down the strait of hormuz. That would be suicide.

Tariffing our allies, then they listen to us, yes. we all just increased our defense spending. -gutting science and medical research where -eroding our democratic institutions where. i dont see that. zohran just won and democrats had big wins earlier this year in WI and FL

They're not points. His research cuts and consolidation of power are well reported on and it's not my job to make you believe objective reality.

He’s been trying to leave since his first term. That’s been one of his massive arguments is that nato actually endangers the world. By having so many countries in an alliance it only makes larger wars more likely. He argues we’d be better isolationist and accept small wars happen. Been doing so since 2015.

Funny thing is the economy has been better historically under Dem presidents but somehow the myth persists that republicans are good for the economy.
