I don’t really have a problem with filibusters, but I do think it’s crazy 1 person could just shut down the whole system if they felt like it

Despite the meme I do think it’s very circumstantial for when I think filibustering is justified, or at least okay. Like filibustering to delay the passing of the civil rights act was crazy work, but if it’s for a policy or bill I don’t like, then pop off king talk your shit
