It’s always interesting to me how some people don’t get the full message of His word. He loves each and every one of us. From gay to straight. Black to white. I wish current people and churches didn’t corrupt His word so much that it pushed people away😔

I blame evangelicalism frankly. I have no problem with normal Christians but those people are insane. And they’re basically the reason why my rights are being taken away rn (trans woman). They’re just so violently hateful it’s terrifying. Like sometimes I can’t help but imagine what could happen to me if they decided to attack me. They just scare me.

I, personally, blame mankind. We are built without the full knowledge of the universe the same way a baby is built without the full knowledge of human life. For some people to claim they know exactly the right path, without acknowledging the fact humans are flawed to have ideals based in the time they live in, is silly

I agree it’s scary how powerful some churches can get. Though some hope is that, in time, those people will reap what they sow. Unfortunately, repercussions aren’t always instantaneous. I do also think it’ll take serious work on both sides to eventually come to a place where your rights aren’t at stake. Some people will have to learn patience with stubborn people. Some people will have to learn they are stubborn. It’s not an easy road ahead, but we can’t give up
