The rise of the far right in Europe is basically an extinction burst of Europe’s relevance on the global stage. The only reason why they were relevant both economically and politically was because of their exploitation of the global south.

Not true, Europe was always economically relevant, irrespective of their relationship with the global south. US trade with Belgium nets a higher profit than US trade with India. Additionally a) in the year 1500 (ie prior to colonization) Europe already had the high HDI globally & b) African colonies never returned a profit, they were more for “prestige” than anything else

Europe is the most politically relevant region of the world, too. Nearly every government structure is based either off the English or American constitution. (American constitution itself being based off prior European political thought). Modern liberal democracy is a European invention and nearly the entire world at least claims to be democratic.
