So you cant redraw maps if there is to many of one race or ethnicity in the area? Isn’t the whole point of redrawing maps to encourage fair representation across all races and ethnicities? I feel as if there is a deeper reason for this lawsuit.

You can’t redraw electoral maps with the intent to favor one racial group over others. It’s a violation of the equal protection clause.

well yeah i get that but there are may red states that have done it like SC who have had no legal trouble under a blue administration.
