Notice how they say cutting Medicare for people in political and news headlines, not citizens. Why was Medicare going to illegal aliens?

Because of a work requirement for non-disabled adults?

With the current job market being the shitshow that it is? The safety net is needed for some people.

Unpaid volunteer work, community service and being a part time student also count btw

Yes because people can’t buy feed themselves by doing unpaid volunteer work, community service, and/or paying for enough college to be a part time student.

Are you just going to complain about everything? First it was too hard for people to find a job who didn’t have one, and now they need to have a job to feed themselves (meaning they probably already have one and already qualify)

Or, hear me out. I was specifically talking about that one in particular

So, your point only holds of to scrutiny if you ignore 99% of the bill?

When did I ignore anything? We can have a separate conversation if you want to pick one in particular

When your original point was under scrutiny, you said “I was specifically talking about that one in particular” in reference to a single part of the bill. You fail to recognize how the compounding issues with the rest of the bill render your claim questionable.

You couldn’t even accurately scrutinize my point to be fair, and the other person didn’t say anything about my point they just brought up different policies

You do realize that it takes a lot to be considered disabled if it’s not a visible disability, right? You have to be seen by a professional and evaluated multiple times which costs a lot of money. Many don’t have the time nor money to do that and end up homeless because of it.

Yes, to claim exemption because you are disabled you generally have to prove that you are homeless. They could also volunteer at the homeless shelter

Also if you don’t already have a job, kids, and don’t have any disability (or proof) you already don’t qualify for medicaid in 9 states. This isnt really revolutionary
