No I think Donald Trump personally handed us his own ass on a silver platter and that’s really where the reason for this blue wave lies. Plain and simple. People are sick of Donald Trump.

I mean it’s both, Trump made obvious mistakes which directly affected cost of living, along with picking horrible candidates. But the only reason dems could flip so many seats is good candidates quality and targeted funding. Schumer supported the candidate in Ohio, NC, and Alaska, and directed funds to Mississippi and (even though he wasn’t his first choice) gave 50mil to AES.

Also you cannot give Schumer credit for Roy Cooper’s win in NC, NC loves that man it was inevitable that Democrats were getting that seat as soon as Roy announced he was running. That didn’t have shit to do with Chuck Schumer.
