This is not the same thing as literally having the religious symbol of your flag and only existing because of your religion. State religions aren’t the same as the literally being a religion country. There is no other country that’s universally considered the only state of that religion. Islam is very common as a state religion but no country is Islam they exist on their own. Isreal doesn’t. It’s literally their flag

I didn’t know that the crosses seen on the flags in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Switzerland, and the UK are christian crosses, and the islamic crescent isn’t as prominent as the star of david or those “crosses” but yes they all have those religious symbols. I am wrong on that. I will shift the goal posts by answering you question. I’m not upset that their is a jewish state, all i’m saying is the only one there is just happens to be doing genocide.

I don’t think antisemitism was bad before Isreal decided to do a genocide. Let’s say hypothetically Saudi Arabia decided out of the blue they would be the only islamic state and every islamic state that there is decided to give it that designation. And then saudi arabia decided to just start killing people in Oman, UAE, Yemen, Qatar, etc to have the entire Arabian peninsula because muhammad promised it to them. If that scenario came true I would be willing to bet islamophobia would be worse

Let’s say any random christian nation declared themselves the only christian nation and started killing peoples in the name of their religion because it was promised to them by God. People would start to hate christians. I’m just saying when you nation is the only representative of your religion on the planet and you decide to do genocide because “God promised you the land” It’s a really really bad look on everyone that is just trying to follow their God in peace.

That’s a fair point, my argument was mainly because I don’t think there is a single other major country that is the only religion of that country in the world. Let’s use the vatican for example. It’s impossible because they don’t have billions of american’s tax dollars but let’s say they just decided to go into rome and start killing people. Let’s say they were powerful enough to take over rome and isolate them and start killing anyone that wasn’t catholic. People would start to hate Catholics

If Isreal wasn’t doing a genocide in the name of their god I think antisemitism would be reduced to nazis. If there was more than one jewish state maybe. But like even still, Islamophobia is a thing because a few countries kill people in the name of their religion. Im not saying it’s okay. I don’t think hating any person that doesn’t deserve it is okay. Islamophobia is normalized with conservatives. Antisemitism is somewhat normalized with progressives tho no where near the same for islamophobia. NEITHER IS CORRECT. The correct thing is to hate people that deserve it. People that don’t support genocide, people that don’t use their religion as justification to kill other people, people that don’t support any of this shit SHOULD NOT RECEIVE ANY HATE.

I’ve been very clear this entire time. No one should receive hate that doesn’t deserve it. Isreal does. i’m saying it’s being normalized because Isreal is a Jewish state that is doing a genocide in the name of their god so people are taking that and targeting innocent people which i have said plenty of times is wrong.
