The difference is those are nations that didn’t care to make life /just/ good enough to make the regular person not want to revolt. Here in the US, we have entire systems dedicated to keeping you complacent

Because Nepal and Mexico are both far less entrenched and powerful than America. Those are the kinds of countries whose preexisting instability lends itself to radical change. We literally can’t do what they do over there here tho. People have wayyy too much to lose in America.

If that changes tho, then yeah it’ll probably happen. If the majority of people miss like, three meals, every single person in power will suddenly have their days numbered. Like all of them.

Most people dont have deeply held wishes and hopes that they can just accept aren’t feasible. Most people push back aggressively. The fact you were open to ideas that contradict what you wish would happen is just impressive.
