A degree does mean something, there’s a reason companies won’t touch anyone without it. It doesn’t get you a job on its own. It’s a prerequisite that shows you can learn the job, your experience is what gets you the job The mag 7 aren’t touching anyone without a degree unless you’re a janitor. You definitely aren’t getting in without a degree unless you know someone. Unless you got in over a decade ago and then I question why you are on an app targeted at college students.

23,went to school and dropped out to focus on work and certain. Moved twice for roles in trust and safety. Last job was content moderation for TikTok through an Oracle partner. It’s very possible and there are others with stories like mine. Friend of mine does says admin for Meta and also has no degree. I know no one in the industry, all my outreach was on my own for both roles.

So you were a contracted content moderator for tik tok. Oracle and Tik Tok aren’t mag 7. Additional Meta doesn’t have system admins they have enterprise or production engineers. The pool of candidates consists of masters and PHDs with years of experience. At least make your story believable

Yes, contracted by Oracle for TT. My current role is in ATX and i’d rather not share which one of the 7 i currently work for. To say Meta didn’t have sts admin roles is ridiculous. i literally have no reason to lie.
