This has been known for years. It’s also been known that it cannot fix the problem in any capacity

Well it depends, you could install a treatment plant and make an industry for plastic collection while developing an off-ramp once a better substitute is instated

That will take decades and never reach 100% compliance ever, and even then, microplastics have reached from the mariana trench to the top of mount everest. There’s no way to process it all unless you release the fungus and bacteria with the ability to break down plastic into the air around the globe

You couldn’t accelerate their metabolism? Releasing it into the air doesn’t sound good

I’ll maintain that I saw this on a whim and am very interested in any proposed solutions you may have or are currently studying/working on

Accelerating their metabolism wouldn’t help if they can’t get to all the plastic. The only solution is immediately halting all unnecessary plastic production and imposing harsh penalties on those that continue to do so, up to military retaliation. It’s literally killing us

Yeah that’s what I’m saying, halt its production and then begin the journey of developing technology or a workforce that is capable of retrieving it all

And then surgeons and medical professionals would create a system for screening where most microplastics are distributed and develop a method for removal
