Business is a good degree for general office jobs but communications is better and easier. A lot of people in business are also just looking to start a small business and keep themselves afloat.

True, I could go to a greedy bank right now, apply for a loan and say I’m gonna start a business for 20% return and pay off my local officials 30% and still have 50% income

You have no idea about the documentation needed for a working capital line of credit. You can’t just walk into a “greedy bank” and ask for a c&I loan and expect to be funded in the next month or so.
