As a right winger, I think it sucks but gotta deal with it. With this, the elimination of the income tax is pretty much out of reach, but checks and balances is checks and balances so its whatever

they do support the 2nd amendment but their interpretation is that it grants a collective right to a “well-regulated militia” rather than an unlimited individual right to own firearms licensing, registration, background checks, etc. aren’t violations of civil liberties in my eyes or the ACLU’s

and the reason they said it was racist was bc the 2nd Amendment (bc its original purpose was to allow state militias) was created to ensure the security of the state, and in states where slavery was legal, state security becomes pro-slavery and inherently racist
