I’m gonna do my best to keep track of all the lies Trump promises these next 4 years. Starting off -Saying the Russia Ukraine War would end within 24 hours of being elected -Saying he didn’t know anyone who was invoked with Project 2025

-Trump falsely claimed, “Europe doesn’t use pesticides, and yet they have a better mortality rate than we do. They don’t use pesticides.” Pesticides are widely used in Europe -Trump repeated his familiar false claim that there were “no wars” during his presidency, this time saying, “Think of it: four years ago, we had no wars.” In fact, there were dozens of unresolved wars and armed conflicts in late 2020 and when Trump left office in early 2021

-Trump repeated his false claim that he built “571 miles” of a wall on the southern border. That’s an exaggeration; official government data shows 458 miles were built under Trump – including both wall built where no barriers had existed before and wall built to replace previous barriers.

-Trump falsely claimed, “Crime is at an all-time high.” That is nowhere close to true. Both violent crime and property crime rates have plummeted in the US since the early 1990s and are far below all-time highs. FBI data shows that crime declined again in 2023. -Trump falsely claimed that, during his presidency, “We had no inflation.” In fact, cumulative inflation during Trump’s presidency was about 8%.

-Trump repeated his false claim that he signed “the biggest tax cuts in history.” Expert analyses have found that his 2017 tax cut law was not the largest in US history, either in percentage of gross domestic product or in inflation-adjusted dollars.

-Trump falsely claimed that under President Joe Biden’s administration, “we had inflation the likes of which, I say – I don’t believe the country has ever seen inflation like that. They say ‘38 years,’ I don’t know; I think it’s probably ever.” There is no basis for Trump’s repeated suggestions that the US had its highest inflation of all time under Biden
