my school has greek life but its kinda shit compared to other schools even though its like the only place people can go to party here i go on my schools community page and every day its non stop yapping about best frat/sorority and the losers who arent in it and like dude being around you people is miserable i am so happy i dont associate with you

My school has a good amount of Greek life, and genuinely the only times I think about them are when I’m avoiding a drunk person or considering burning one of their houses down for how many sexual assaults occur because of them.

the problem at my school since greek life is shit is that other groups end up trying to imitate greek life i joined a sport club and was excited to have a group of people to be friends with bc my older brother did sort of the same thing (ncaa for same sport) and lots of friends. except the club leaders (my school didnt have ncaa for this sport) just wanted to be like a frat like... dude i dont want to be in your shitty environment where our mutual enjoyment turns into me leaving and ...
