Yep, the governmental investment into intel and harsh unconstitutional crack downs on crime are just one of these things. The only difference is that Chinese citizens are okay with the government monitoring all communications, extreme punishment for drugs, and having CCTV monitoring everywhere even in secluded hiking trails for societal safety purposes. MAGA welcomes these same policies with surveillance tech, drug/crime crackdowns, and big government control at every level.
