Of course OP Is happy to see money being taken from research institutions and given to his industry 😂 you can invest more in the trades without taking it from research institutions

Yeah except one is being funded billions of tax dollars where those billions of dollars are funding opportunities where over 30% of the student population aren’t even U.S. citizens. And before you say ohhhh they contribute to the country, of those international students less than half stay in the country long term post graduation

Half staying is pretty good if your ass mad they aren’t US citizens pass a bill instead of arbitrarily taking away funding for research. I think your numbers are also incorrect from what I’ve seen international students for the year 2025 are 12.2 percent, but we can compare sources.

Did you even read my comment? I’m all for giving them more money. Just not at the expense of research institutions. This isn’t a zero sum game, you can give the trades more money without taking it from someone else.
