I’m excited for the A.I. bubble to pop and cause a recession bigger than the Great Depression in 2028 😁

It’ll pop for sure but, don’t think it’ll cause anything outside of tech stocks to come back to reality

I don’t think it’s popping. AI’s whole thing is growth, even if it can’t keep up, it’ll still soften the blow. The most we’re gonna get is a sad little hissing noise as the bubble fizzles out

So what could make the bubble pop? Is it as simple as the ketamine high wearing off or the fact that average Americans are paying larger energy bills for the tech bros? Or something I’m missing?

Okay. But if you exclude big tech stock from consideration, we’re in a significant recession already. What do you think happens when they come back to reality, if the rest of the stock market is failing?

So the thing is that you can compare literally anything to AI valuations rn and they’ll look like they’re failing. The stuff that isn’t growing out of control tn, construction healthcare consumer goods, are the ones that are healthy

Don’t get me wrong ppl who are all in on tech are gonna get wiped tho. And that could have serious effects across the board into banks. But I think we’ll be ok

A realization by investors that AI promised them the world and can’t deliver. These ppl expect endless growth out of thin air.

realizing that they’re investing in consumer AI when that’s the worst cost-to-profit ratio they could be investing in inherently there’s not a lot of room to make chatbots more expensive than they are and still grow the userbase. and if AI DOES deliver on eliminating a lot of white collar jobs, even fewer people will be able to afford the AI tools they’re trying to push

If they wanted an AI revolution that was actually sustainable they wouldn’t be doing the free to use chatbot thing, they’d just be pushing the tools to power users, governments and corporations
