Well I do try to do more like I’ve participated in many a protest and I’ve managed to boycott a few companies and products for years but ya know what? It’s like 2am so yeah I am rotting in bed bitching about the people making the country worse out of stupidity and misunderstanding.

That’s true, but at this point it’s hard to not see the huge issues happening around the world and in our own country and think “nothing to do with me”

This is a little unrelated but I also personally believe all centrists are cowards by design. They think that by n out choosing sides everything will just work out but there are some issues you just cannot go half way on! Maybe for some issues but you can’t be centrist for civil rights. They hide behind this idea that “oh both sides are wrong” in order to avoid having to form an actual opinion

I think the government is wrong man both sides just gaslight people into support Rights owned by Israel, lefts owned by people that don’t represent my values There’s no winning and no protest or boycott is going to fix anything. Centrist means I don’t let the government affect my emotional stability either way.

No it’s called acceptance and maturity. Getting worked up and letting something that barely affects you rule your emotions at 2 am is called delusion Read a book, learn an instrument, there’s so many productive things you can do besides belittling other people for their beliefs

Maybe it doesn’t effect me now, but if I just sit back and watch while the people it does effect get trampled how am I any better than those being trampled! Those are my friends! If I just kick back and wait how long before suddenly I’m up next! You are sitting back and watching people’s lives get ruined while I am going to events to talk to people about how they can help stop trans people from being persecuted because even though it “doesn’t effect me” I will not stand by and watch.

Mlk said the biggest problem they had was the white moderate bc they were the majority but never spoke out they just said to ignore the violence that it had nothing to do with them
