So let me get this straight: Texas Democrats flee the state to protest a gerrymandering effort that is completely unethical and wrong, and Texas Republicans want to issue arrest warrants? Hello fascism??? How can ANYONE with a brain vote Republican.

We agree then! that said, nobody actually got arrested in Oregon. And in fact, the GOP there continued to use walkouts and absenteeism to block legislation for years after without much pushback. in the end, an attendance policy was mandated by referendum, which I think was reasonable

Buddy Oregon did gerrymandering after the 2020 consensus. This is gerrymandering specifically to gain seats in the 2026 midterms because Republicans will do anything to keep the House they know will lose. And Oregon legislators NEVER issued arrest warrants. I find it hilarious how you Republicans always try to tame down situations.

So gerrymandering is okay as long as it’s done at the census? Funny because I seem to remember Alabama and Louisiana being forced to give Dems a district because they gerrymandered And I never said that the Oregon GOP had arrest warrants. I said she sent the cops to go and find them to bring them back
