I mean yeah no shit when you discover a black person hanging from a tree and an investigation HAS NOT been conducted yet what does that imply? Like ofc once the investigation comes out the truth reveals itself (which CNN did cover) but in the immediate aftermath what would YOU assume?

And remember - the article OP took issue with was an Immediate Aftermath article, quoting someone else (i.e, NOT stating an opinion CNN holds), which was then followed up on with updates and subsequent stories by CNN
