I don’t entirely mind paying into something that actually benefits people, especially people who need benefits. I do mind being lied to about the security and longevity of government programs designed to help me when I need it too by the very government stealing my money

the reason why it wouldn’t benefit our generation is because the rich refuse to pay their fair share into the program (which is why there is an income cap on social security tax, congress was lobbied for it (as always)) then we have dumbasses like you furthering that issue, and people wonder why social security will be defunct before we retire?
