one side has people who are either so comically evil it’s almost unbelievable, or people who are more scared of being primaried or getting a tongue lashing from djt than standing up for their real constituents. then on the other side we have a party of uninspiring dinosaurs who would rather throw their hands up in the air and make marvel jokes than actually take any meaningful action. the combined leadership of hakeem jeffries and chuck schumer is just so laughably weak

Yes historically unproductive in terms of legislative action. Speaks to how incredible unbalanced the system is in favor of a unitary executive, which is directly at odds with what the founders intended

and im aware they don’t hold the majority, but because of their refusal to endorse zohran it’s clear they would rather complain about having a problem then to go about fixing it. so we’re left with a group of people who would rather make quirky tweets than actually take any meaningful action. and the worst part is they’re bought out on all sides, so we’re left just watching in horror until 2026 when some new characters get added to the mix but really it’s just the same shit in a different toilet
