Do yall only care about fraud when it’s a minority doing it? Like the president has personally pardoned people with millions in fraud?

Most fraud is a lot less cut and dry than making fake daycare centers and sending the money to Al Shabab tbf

The big takeaway from that recent YouTube expose is that the government has already been investigating, prosecuting, and punishing cases of fraud for years, and the reactionary who made the video did deliberately shady shit to make you perceive things a certain way, like showing up outside business hours and asking why there aren’t any kids inside.

The main person being attacked for the Somali fraud is a white middle aged man for allowing this

Yeah the massive corporation national news is fucking talking about Somali communities trying to frame Somalians and migrants as criminals, again the president of the United states of America has pardoned multiple fraud cases due to them being buddy’s and donating but I didn’t hear any conservatives caring about fraud then

Fr is it not possible to hate tyrants and hate misuse of our tax dollars anymore? Seems like they'd go hand in hand

JFC I’m saying that there’s more instances of fraud that will never get this amount of media attention due to a political stunt trying to demonize Somalians. You can dislike fraud and not fucking frame it as Somalian’s love committing fraud

Can you name some more instances where the FBI alleges over a billion dollars in fraud? Those seem few and far between.

I could point to a lot of crypto fraud cases that garnered pretty similar attention, although notably to a more financial audience than a political one

and so what if they’re getting disproportionate media attention? media talks about what’s happening currently

The point is that it gained a normal amount of media attention for a $1 billion dollar fraud case and appealed to a political audience because of the current immigration situation? Or that the FBI is being weaponized to falsify that?

Yall im not saying there was no fraud and it wasn’t bad im saying this shits being used as a political tool to further spread hate towards migrant communities and will almost certainly be used to further talks of denaturalization or removal of legal residency to certain countries

Funny thing is the Al Shabab thing was just a claim made by some ex cop in a different state with 0 evidence that people just repeat kinda like when Trump said 3million undocumented immigrants voted against him in 2016 after he heard a random guy say despite never showing any evidence but the right ran with it still.
