its almost like men want the world to be dangerous/violent because the biggest power men have over women is their capacity for wrath. back in the day when everyone was killing eachother, that ability to commit violence was important… today not so much

I don’t think it’s so much men want it to be violent as much as it is recognition that the world is dangerous and violent. That’s the natural state. Any society free of violence will necessarily need violence to maintain it.

People who want what others have. The fact that we live with finite space, time, and resources means we are going to fight over them. Even if we had endless of everything, we would still find a way to make others suffer for our enjoyment.

cities take up only 1-3% of earths land, if land was used more efficiently (less roads and less distance between things, while still keeping some land preserved for wilderness preservation) we wouldnt have a shortage.

Yes, not all land is the same. This is my point. People don’t just anything, they want the best thing.

they want that land because men created a religion that’s main events took place on that land, then men continued for decades inappropriately promising that land to different conflicting religious people, and have been unable to undo the damage they caused. its not that the land’s special is that men convinced people it was

How people choose to attribute value to different areas of land is arbitrary. At the end of the day, the issue is that multiple people want the same thing. The reality of that is that the most violent will get it.

the original point to this conversation was that the world isnt inherently violent anymore, its only violent because of men. can you give me an example of a wide-scale or systemic form of violence NOT created and upheld by men?

There have been female murderers, serial killers, thieves, tyrants, soldiers, military generals, and so on. Do you think the women in the Israeli army would not fight the war if it wasn’t for men in the Israeli army? If there were no men, what makes you think it wouldn’t all become the movie Heathers?
