 Hey do we think all these ai study tool apps are just a ploy by ai companies to get high quality research and education tools uploaded for free to train their models so they don’t have to buy all these textbooks, teacher slides, etc and manually add them?

Like yeah harvesting everything the user uploads is the point and students are an easy market to target BUT “hey we don’t want to pay for textbooks to upload all this info for training data, why don’t we just have the students upload it themselves so we can slop it back out to them. Oh and make THEM PAY FOR IT!!!!” Why else would there be SO MANY apps for this from so many “companies”, yet powered by the same 2-3 models?
