Yeah but they wanted to “take the high road” and wrapped every policy in like 20 layers of bureaucratic tap, effectively making their entire term completely worthless, because none of their policy would be noticed outside of like 10 years, which means it’d never be felt, because republicans just reverse it the next time they get in, and blame democrats when whatever they reversed fails because they reversed it.
