My point is that we are better off now. Nominal wages are much higher and even real hourly wages are higher than in Boomers time.

Yeah I’ve dug into the topic. You can account for inflation in multiple different ways but wages have gone up however you slice it

have you by chance looked into the difference in taxing now versus then? and any other factors that are almost completely getting rid of the working class and just making it the rich and the poor? there are a thousand different factors that come into this, so to say that we are better off now based on wages alone is not a well rounded argument

There might be other factors that come into this but you haven’t really engaged with any of them. If you come up with some data to suggest that the median wages aren’t reflecting the changes for most Americans then we can talk.
