getting lectured about your ability to command by a tv host who’s never held command above the company level and is 27 G&Ts deep

Apparently Hegseth is lecturing them about having a “warrior ethos” 💀 Imagine being dragged halfway around the globe to listen to an alcoholic clown ramble about being a general like it’s some kinda of Rambo film 😭

I mean, some of them flew across the country on short notice, just to have a Fox host lecture them about “manliness”

Oh 100%. These guys are West Point graduates who have sworn an oath to the constitution. Like they wake up and salute the flag for an hour everyday lmao. What they want is to keep order, and this circus of an administration is (to them) a boss who doesn’t know what they’re doing, so they begrudgingly go along with them

All we do is talk shit about him for not knowing what he’s doing, but shit will hit the heel in the future and he’s not gonna know a damn what to do which sucks, we should have had someone that could do their job and not just pretend they could do it

That’s what happens when you have a president with dictatorial ambitions who appoints his advisors based on loyalty rather than effectiveness. It’s called coup-proofing and historically leads to a bad advisory corps within governments that do it, and is a telltale sign of democratic backsliding.

Bingo When you prioritize loyalty instead of competency, this is always going to be the outcome. Hegseth is loyal to Trump, most definitely, but he has no clue what he’s doing. And because of that our military is incredibly weak up top

3 more years my brothas and better people will be in office, hopefully Dems, but if there’s a Republican who is decently good that’s not a fascist, then I’d be somewhat happy atleast. We just need good leaders that make good decisions whether their dem or rep

Hopefully voters don’t fall for whatever crap JD Vance has in store

JD does not have remotely the same amount of charisma Trump has. Trump is a monster, but he knows how to draw and control a crowd. JD doesn’t have that sauce When Trump dies the GOP is in trouble because that cult of personality will be gone
