Northern Irish Protestants are primarily Scottish lowlanders who were settled in northern Ireland to replace displaced Catholic Irish as a settler colonial project by the English crown. Your argument would be a terrible misrepresentation either way but the ulster Protestants aren’t even indigenous. That’s kind of the whole reason Northern Ireland exists.
