This is going to sound crazy, but I genuinely believe a massive reason why some men turn republican is because of sexual insecurity They are so insecure that they’re not man enough because they’re awkward about sex and so they look for a strongman to lead them. They also compensate for that insecurity by purchasing guns, drive big trucks, project their anger through misogyny, etc.
