The Miccosukee opposed the construction of that massive ICE detention center on their ancestral land. This is absolutely supposed to be revenge.

He has a history of opposing the expansion of tribal lands (ex the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe), primarily because tribal gambling is competition for his businesses and his buddies in the casino industry.
