This is a victory against authoritarian gender studies and the erosion of presumption of innocence!

I’m more so looking forward to the lawsuit of all the men’s personal data that got leaked since they didn’t consent to anything being on that app. Their pictures, addresses, social medias, everything was posted by women. Now obv the internet won’t take it as far as they are with the women’s info, but it’s still going to be a fun legal battle all around

So basically, there was an app that allowed women to make post about men living in their area and if they were okay to date or not. They claimed it was all “anonymous” and you had to upload or ID or a selfie of yourself to use the app and prove you’re a woman. Come to find out, their data storage method was unencrypted and not secure. So someone was able to hack it and leak the location and photos of the people who used the app

It gets even worse when you find out the app said that the photos for identification purposes would be deleted after verification
