We dont have a lot of trains and busses from place to place and rely on roadway or plane to get around. Some places have them while others dont but there could definitely be an improvement

"we have trains" yes! they exist in the us! they were built a long time ago and still are here! trains as a serious option though? trains as something many people can really look to as a means of traveling just as conveniently and quickly and easily as with a car (should be easier but asking for bare minimum)? no. very very few places have that. youre talking the oldest and densest cities in the country

Okay big baby let’s rephrase it to “America would have a proper cross continental train system that would be beneficial for everyone to use more often than cars” because we don’t have that. We do not have a good train system other than New York, Chicago, maybe Philly. And all of those suck in comparison to every other first world country
