Given that Iran got through US air defense systems in Israel, it is possible. I doubt that Iran would strike a U.S. base, territory, or the continental states however it is plausible. If I were in Iran’s position I would continue the barrage on Israel, as it’s purely defensive at this point. Israel struck first, with claims that Iran is 3-5 years away from a nuke for 3+ decades. Based on Trump’s warnings to Israel should they attempt a regime change, I’m not sure where we’ll go from here.

Their officials have always said they’d treat Israeli attacks as if they were directly at the order of America. Like genuinely associating as a declaration of war for both countries.

I mean technically we’ve done a lot as an accomplice, but we also prevented an attempted regime change less than 48 hours ago in Iran at the hands of Israel. Israel would not be the global powerhouse they are without American assistance, and now they’re so engrained in our defense and espionage infrastructure that we’d face some real intelligence challenges without our partnership. Now I’m all for ending that partnership because these tools are used primarily on US citizens, but it is a fact.
