the term conservative in how ur using it was a uniquely american centered word at the time in global politics there is only capital C conservative and Capital L liberal. the implications of those two categories are ironically flipped in the american centered use of “conservative and liberal”

I’m on an American forum talking with Americans sadly. The last time I attempted to explain to someone that Ronald Reagan was actually a Liberal I had multiple long, angry essays in response lol. It’s easier to frame shit to the audience you’re speaking to.

yeah but using an american term to describe a non american movement that literally has an opposing word (socialism) in the name is flawed a more accurate comparison between them and the issue w see w trump/maga is how nationalism leads to in appropriate beliefs
