I’m not usually a NIMBY but I would 100000% vote against an AI data center near me. They destroy your water quality and make electricity 3-4x more expensive to make more AI slop.

That’s not what NIMBYism is, NIMBY and YIMBY are terms that mainly refer to housing developments, not industrial centers

I’m a YIMBY for like public transit, clean energy, etc. Yes it might gentrify a bit and that’s kinda bad in some ways. Austin for example got a lot of the eastside black neighborhoods destroyed. But like in general, yeah. Def for it
