Obama was actually trying to fix the immigration system. For example daca. However, Trump isn’t fixing it and is just mass deporting. It’s not fixing the root of the problem

^ it is though. If you’re illegal you shouldn’t be here. Just like if you break the law you go to jail

So; illegal=crime and crime=bad? Why is donald trump allowed in office then considering that he has committed a crime and is therefore bad? Why is the entire government not being considered illegal and bad for not upholding due process rights? 😭🫵

Immigration rose under biden admin mostly due to post COVID GLOBAL migration trends. it’s misleading to ignore that Trump faced record spikes in immigration too. illegal border immigrations in 2019 surged by ≈88% from the year prior also, biden expanded LEGAL pathways like CBP1 + humanitarian parole however, trump focused more on bans and removals without addressing the root causes

I mean sure, during Biden a lot of illegals did come in. However, Trump isn’t even deporting the ones who came in recently or have criminal records. They have only caught a handful of hard criminals. He’s targeting the people who came here 10+ years ago. People who have kids who are us citizens, people who are homeowners, people who work in small businesses, people who have ongoing cases to fix their status. He’s going after farm workers. These are not people who pose a threat to the US

Yes that is true, however the law still allows for deportation if you’ve entered illegally. Being undocumented = civil violation, however that is still a deportable offense. INA § 237(a)(1): Any person who enters or remains in the U.S. without legal status is subject to removal (deportation), even if they haven’t committed a crime. Under US immigration law, Any person without legal status (a visa or green card) can be deported at any time, no matter how long they’ve been in the U.S.

Yes but also according to the law due process is a regulation in declaring if an individual is illegal which has not been offered to accused individuals
