Iranian officials confirmed they were receptive to Pakistan’s proposal and would like to see it implemented. Iranian state media also retracted their reports of channels being shutdown shortly after they reported it. The Iranians want this just as much, if not more than we do. For all the talk about the underdog Iran holding the U.S. off by closing the Strait, their entire military has been obliterated and they don’t want to see their energy infrastructure destroyed.

They’ve lost their entire navy and air force, the majority of their launchers, their missile stockpiles are depleting while 90% of their launches have been intercepted. Their defense industrial base and munitions production factories have been wiped out, their air defenses have largely failed, and their command structure has been largely destroyed with the vast majority of IRGC commanders killed, along with the Ayatollah himself.

While they still possess defensive capacities, we estimate those to be less than a quarter of their pre-war strength. These are undisputed facts of the matter.

You have to be able to separate military reality from political opinion. Trump is an idiot and this war never should have happened. That does not change the MILITARY reality on the ground.

Undisputed based on what? U.S. government reporting? Unless you have some kind of insider military knowledge you really have no way to know for sure the reality on the ground
