No one is stopping you from joining a commune, just don’t force me to.

A dictatorship of the proletariat where the means of production transfer from the capital owning class to be shared equitably among the workers. It’s not about individualistic communes, that’s anarchy. It’s about internationalism and global working class liberation

You are already allowed to own means of production. Why does it need to be global?

No, the capital class only has been permitted to hoard it which forces poverty on the majority of the world’s population. I oppose such theft and greed

The majority of Americans own some form of capital. Theres no evidence that this causes poverty. In fact, global poverty is at an all time low largely driven by market economies.

No the majority of Americans are not business owners or landlords. I have no interest in owning capital when it’s theft

The majority of Americans either own stock or property. Both of which are capital investments in our economy.

OP’s claim was that only the capital class is permitted to own capital. If thats true, how is it possible that most people own capital?

& I don’t want to own capital. I want profits to be equitably shared instead of being hoarded by one person. I want this for everyone

What if I want to work as an employee? What right do you have to stop me from making an agreement with another person?

That’s not private property, that’s personal property. Private property is when you profit at the expense of someone else (owning a house and renting it out to someone else, business owners with wage or salary earning employees)

If you’re stealing from someone you should not be allowed to continue

Only Marxists make that distinction. Economists call it all private property, and for good reason. Any personal property can generate profit. I can rent out a room in my house, for example. Most homeowners eventually sell and pocket the value their property gained. None of that is stealing.
