The only good cop I knew quit the force because he couldn’t stand all the fucked up shit that was happening. I don’t see how you can be a “good” person, and still put on that badge

I mean you literally just said how a good cop can put on the badge. They go in not realizing how true the systematic the hate is, genuinely believing they can be “one of the good ones”

But he couldn’t believe that, because (I believe) he has good morals and integrity. I think it takes an inflated ego to be apart of an evil system and to help it perpetuate, but think it’s all okay because behind closed doors you say “I don’t morally agree with this”.
