 Open, public pride events shouldn’t have kink gear. Those should be reserved for separate 18+ events. Lots of people take their kids to pride, as most often it’s just a street fair, but the bigger events like NYC pride should have stricter guidelines

Someone said to me once that Pride events should be split into two parts of the day. From 10-7 have it be kid friendly, and then 7-12 have it be for people in kink gear and shit I’ve always thought that’d be the best way to go about it. Everyone wins. Kids get to bed on time, adults get a nice late night time away from kids, and everyone lives happily ever after
